After a decade of global premieres and policy-shifting documentaries, we are consolidating our legacy brands into one unified studio. Welcome to the next era of Tall Tale Pictures.

At the top of our website in "The Anthem," we shared flashes of a ten-year journey. You see global premieres at the Cinerama Dome, Le Grande Rex, & the Uránia Theater. You see cultural icons, from Matt Rife and Tito Jackson to Kevin Miles (Jake from State Farm). You get a taste of the global, policy-shifting impact of our documentary A Billion Lives.

But underneath the scale of those moments, there has always been a deeper pulse to our work: a hunger to find the light in the shadows and tell stories that actually matter.

Refocusing

2020 & 2021 tested every level of the media industry. For our team, it was a season of incredibly difficult decisions. We had to cancel a 2,300-person world premiere and shutter our very talented music division. But in the fire of those refining years, we found absolute clarity.

To execute our vision at a global scale moving forward, we are officially consolidating our legacy brands under one unified banner: Tall Tale Pictures.

This means our most significant signature properties, including the globally recognized A Billion Lives and our latest feature You Don’t Know Nicotine (formerly Third Line Films)—now officially live under the Tall Tale umbrella. Jenni, Jimi, & I are taking the integrated impact-driven model that helped improve national health policies from the FDA to Iceland to New Zealand, and applying it to a new era of storytelling.

The 2026/2027 Slate

We are thrilled to announce that You Don't Know Nicotine is now available globally on Apple TV, and we are currently engaged in high-level conversations to launch deeper international impact campaigns with large distribution partners in South America.

But our eyes are firmly on the horizon. Moving forward, our focus is entirely on stories that unite, heal, or inspire vital change. Our development slate is now anchored by two major properties:

  • Kitchen Island: An innovative unscripted series featuring Chef Adam Pawlak (Hell's Kitchen, Superchef Grudge Match, and Cutthroat Kitchen). National League MVP Christian Yelich joined us for the pilot. It is a fun celebration of culture, community, & the power of a shared table.

  • Finding The Way: After producing over 100 pieces of short-form faith-based content, we are launching our most ambitious signature series to date—a premium docuseries slated to film across Israel, Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, and the UK.

Anchored in Our Community

Alongside this expanding slate, we are celebrating a massive milestone for our internal team: Sydney Biebert has officially joined the studio full-time after years of interning, bringing a fresh perspective to our global storytelling efforts.

Yet, even as we scale internationally, we believe true impact starts at home. That is why we are establishing ongoing Community Impact Partnerships, working alongside organizations like Kingdom Prep, City on a Hill, and the Lighthouse Youth Centers to tell the stories of our neighbors actively changing Milwaukee for the better.

The camera is a witness. The lens is shifting. The next era of Tall Tale Pictures has officially begun.
